it was a beginning.............

On September 12, 2003 the first Model A Ford Hill Climb on the East Coast in recent history was held in Helen, GAThe Hill Climb was held in conjuction with a Model A “Gathering” hosted by the Alabama Rambling A’s on September 11 - 14. A cooperative triad of Model A Clubs (Alabama Rambling A’s, Shade Tree A’s, and East Tennessee Region) organized and conducted the Hill Climb.

The “Hill” was actually a 0.1 mile run on the Edelweiss Strasse in downtown Helen. Although our hill was flat the enthusiasm of drivers and spectators was steep.

A total of twelve (12) cars ran the “Hill” with results as follows:
